Ralph Moon, Ph.D. is the Owner of Ralph E. Moon Consulting, Inc. in Tampa, FL. Dr. Moon is a graduate of Western Michigan University (BA in Biology) and the University of South Florida (MA in Botany, Ph.D. in Biology). Dr. Moon’s research interests in moisture exposure studies of wood and metal building materials began in 2004. His peer-reviewed papers are diverse and range from cleaning methods for mold-contaminated fabrics to the application of ATP swab tests as a forensic instrument.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]

Richard Shaughnessy, Ph.D. is a world-renowned expert in indoor air quality (IAQ) and the Director of the Indoor Air Quality Research Program at the University of Tulsa. He is internationally recognized in air quality, environmental quality, and measurement systems in buildings and facilities. Dr. Shaughnessy maintains many global research collaborations. He is an officer with ISIAQ and currently serves as president of ISIAQ’s Indoor Air 2024 organizing committee.

Greg Whiteley, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney, Australia. He is also an Adjunct Fellow in the School of Medicine at Western Sydney University. Dr.  Whiteley is the Executive Chairman of Whiteley Corporation, a manufacturing company that develops and manufactures medical chemistries for Medical Device
reprocessing and healthcare surface cleaning and disinfection. Greg Whiteley has expertise in the measurement of surface hygiene and supervises an extensive collaborative research portfolio into Medical Biofilms and Biofilm Mediated Infections.

John Richter, MSME. is a graduate of the University of Dayton with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He entered the cleaning industry in 2006 as Technical Director at Kaivac Inc., where he conducted studies and research in the areas of cleaning effectiveness using ATP measurements, bacteria counts, and tribometry. In 2014, he accepted a position as Clinical Faculty Member with the Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering Department at Miami University in Oxford, OH. In addition to teaching multiple engineering classes, he is an engineering consultant to the cleaning industry.

Randy Rapp, D.Mgt, P.E, C.C.P. was awarded the Restoration and Reconstruction Professorship in Construction Management Technology at Purdue University in 2021. In this role, originally begun with great foresight and a decade-long financial commitment to Purdue by leaders in the disaster restoration industry, Dr. Rapp’s focus is on teaching, mentoring, industry engagement, and research in disaster restoration and reconstruction. His first response to a disaster was with bulldozers to a tire graveyard fire in 1976, and 30 years later saw him respond with Kellogg, Brown & Root to hurricanes Katrina and Wilma and to restore the oil program in Iraq as a deputy general manager. He holds a doctoral degree in management, and as well is a licensed professional engineer and certified cost professional.

 Karen C. Dannemiller, Ph.D. directs the Indoor Environmental Quality research group, which addresses emerging concerns within the built environment. Her work aims to improve understanding of chemical and microbial processes indoors that impact health, especially childhood asthma. She is an associate professor at The Ohio State University with a joint appointment in Civil, Environmental & Geodetic Engineering, and Environmental Health Sciences. Recent awards include the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award, the Buckeye Engineering Women in Executive Leadership (BEWEL) Leadership in Innovation Award, the Lumley Engineering Research Award, and selection in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists’ 2022 40 under 40.
