Research Institute Selects Papers, Sets Agenda For State of Cleaning Science Symposium
The theme for this year’s conference is The State of Cleaning Science™, and will include presentations from two types of papers. The first is a series of "foundation" papers created by the CIRI Science Advisory Council identifying the latest information available on cleaning science. The second is a series of papers from industry and academic researchers evaluating different aspects of the cleaning process. There will also be panel discussions at the end of each day in an open forum to allow for attendee feedback and input on the papers.

- The Chemistry of Cleaning
- Testing of Cleaning Technology
- The Benefits of Cleaning
- Measurement of Cleaning Effectiveness
- Green Cleaning – a Multifaceted Approach
- A Method to Evaluate the Impact of Cleaning Products And Processes on Indoor Air Quality
- An In-use Laboratory Model for Evaluating the Potential For Cross-Contamination Associated with Traditional and New Floor Mopping Practices
- A Comparison of Cleaning Methods in Removing Soils and Bacteria from Restroom Grout Lines
Based on the final presentation selection, CIRI has also finalized the agenda for the two and a half day event:
