The demand for increased cleaning and disinfection in schools and public building has resulted in a rise in service providers and products making claims not supported by the EPA. This was the case in Dallas where a local school district paid out more than $1 million to a company who promised the product and service they provided would keep surfaces disinfected for more than 90 days.
